Material feeds into the drum, is lifted up by the rotation as it falls back down. This action is repeated with each revolution along the length of the drum. The finer material passes through the screen openings while the larger material tumbles towards its eventual exit at the rear of the drum.

Alluvial Gold Ore Washing Plant Flowsheet ONE
if your ore is not a lot sticky clay,just need use trommel screen for washing,(if have sticky clay,will use scrubber-trommel instead trommel screen),then to vibrating sluice box and carpet sluice box as rough separator,then concentrate to shaking table to clean concentrate.
this is recovery alluvial gold most simple flowsheet,small invest,less labor,fast retrun of investment,simple operation.
Flowsheet two: use jig machine instead in vibrating sluic box,the recovery ratio is higher,but cost is higher,you can according to your budget to choose flowsheet.
Flowsheet three:
if your gold is in mountain,at first use rotary scrubber washing ore,then to jig machine as rough separator,(if the gold is in river,use scrubber-trommel instead rotary scrubber).the big particle size use belt conveyor threw away.
the concentrate to shaking table,the tailing to vibraing screen for screening big particle size,less then 2mm to centrifugal concentrator re-recovery.the concentrate aslo to shaking table.
this is flowsheet is re-recovery jig machine tailing,so the recovery ratio is high,but invest is a little higher.
