Alluvial Sticky Clay Gold Manganese Chrome Ore Washing Rotary Drum Scrubber Trommel Plant
The slurry material feeds into the drum where it is vigorously scrubbed, the soil matrix is broken up and the target mineral is released. The material is then screened through the rotating screen and waste is ejected. The screened material is then passed on to the concentrating modules for upgrading.
This model is RXT1860,diameter is 1.8m and the washing part is 6m and screening part is 2.5m with rubber wheels driving. This was shipped to West Africa for aluvial gold washing with 100t/h.

Two layers polyurethane screens to have two targets screening products. More coarse particles will be concentrated on the sluice boxes and the smaller particles will be concentrated in the centrifugal concentrators. The concentrates from the centrifual concentrators will be upgraded again on the shaking table. Now this complete design is used for alluvial gold. Easier operation with lower cost and high efficiency are the advantages and popular in the customers.
Descriptions
The rotary scrubber is an autogenous rotating drum scrubber, utilising pebbles and rocks within the feed source to fracture and disintegrate clays, agglomerates and soft oxides. Disintegrated material is homogeneously slurried within the drum, whilst the autogenous load is retained within the drum by reverse flights located at the drum discharge end. Slurry and washed oversize overflows the drum discharge throat to the concentric exit trommels.
The scrubber spins slowly, similar to a giant washing machine. It churns the fines and oversize and water together, vigorously breaking up the soil matrix as well as liberating the target mineral from tough clay, schist's and rock.
After the fine (soil) is separated, the material is moved into the screen. The rotating screen separates the oversize material from the fines (the fines are usually termed or categorized into less than 8mm). Most of the freely (gravity) recoverable gold and or other recoverable mineral is contained in the -8mm fines.
This material is then passed on to the downstream process equipment which can be in various forms such as centrifugal Concentrator, spirals, jigs etc.
This scrubber has two functions. The front part is the scrubber for material washing and the rear part is the trommel to get the screening purpose. If the materials are not very sticky, we suggest you could use this machine.
The scrubber was shipped to Russia for sticky alluvial gold. 2m diameter with 10m washing part to keep a good washing efficiency. Rubber wheels driving to keep a longer wear-resistant and lower noise.
This scrubber is our chain normal type with competitive cost and used a lot for small-scale projects and popular in the customers.
